Bio-Psycho-Social Tips for Boxing and Health
This guide came out of coaching, training, and clinical work. Boxing is a sport. It is also a lifestyle and, for a lot of people, a kind of medicine.
We are a system:
- Bio = biological health
- Psycho = mental health
- Social = social health
To build goals with boxing, you train all three. You do not wait until you “feel ready.” You start with small habits that fit your schedule.
How to read this library
Three chapters sit under this page:
- Meals, nutrition, and metabolism — food, fuel, medical awareness
- Sleep, stress, and mental health — recovery of the mind and nervous system
- Training habits and coaching — what you do after the bell, who you train with, and who you keep close
Download the print booklet if you want the original layout. This HTML is the version built for the site.
Extra tip
Be patient with building your relationship with you and your system. Small accomplishments stack. We are reflections of our habits, and those habits show up in the rest of life.
When you are ready to train the system in the gym, book a session or complete intake. See Training for packages.
