Training Habits and Coaching

Boxing and training do not stop the minute the session ends. Success is making it a lifestyle. Start small. Stack habits around a real schedule.

This sits under boxing and health. Homework that always pays off: purposeful shadowboxing.

Post-training habits

  1. Run. Move. Keep cardio and strength from going quiet.
  2. Practice purposeful shadowboxing
  3. Reflect on the day and the session
  4. Write down questions for the next session
  5. Self-care for recovery
  6. Set boundaries with other people
  7. Follow the bio-psycho-social work, not only the bag

Social network

The people around you can help a goal or quietly kill it. Their habits leak.

Ask:

  • How are my relationships healthy?
  • How are the people around me supportive?
  • What needs to change?

Digital life

Social media can motivate. It can also wreck you with comparison.

  1. Content can promote and motivate
  2. Watch social comparison
  3. Put a time boundary on it
  4. Other people’s opinions are not yours to control
  5. Build a digital circle you actually want

The coach

Finding the right coach and gym is a real question. Styles differ. Ask:

  • Experience?
  • Education?
  • Are they safe?
  • What do they value?
  • Do they practice what they preach?
  • What kind of room do they run?

The industry is crowded. Coaches and gyms are like shoes. What fits someone else may not fit you. Find the fit for your goals and your system.

If that fit is here, book a session or complete intake. Packages are on Training.
